The Summer Pass 2021 Pilot Program has ended.

Youth took 70,300+ free trips using the Summer Pass in 2021 and over 3,400 passes were distributed!

Passes are deactivated as of the end of service, September 15, 2021.

A free STA pass for youth!

Unlimited trips to summer fun!

June 15 2021, Spokane Transit Authority (STA) launched a new region-wide pilot program to provide students with a way to access summer activities: the STA Summer Pass. The goal of the pilot program was to increase access to public transit for youth, to develop future public transit users, and to allow youth access to great free or discounted programs available in the region.

Who can use a Summer Pass?

Youth ages 6 to 18 or students enrolled in school from kindergarten to grade twelve. 

Where can I get a Summer Pass?

Visit a Spokane Public Library branch, a Spokane County Library District branch or Liberty Lake Municipal Library.

When can I use the Summer Pass?

During STA service hours between June 15 and September 15, 2021.

Where can I go with the Summer Pass?

Check out some of the FREE local destinations below! Discounts are available at Mobius, the MAC and the Numerica Skate Ribbon. You can plan your trip here.

Can parents pick up Summer Passes for their kids?

Youth must be present when picking up a pass at your local library.
